UK & Italy trip (2)

It was 4 days of well spend time in Italy before we went back home to the UK. After resting for the whole day, we then made our way to London. We depart from Coventry by bus and arrived at London Victoria some 2 hours later. We then jump into Metro and went straight to Bayswater to look for the Malaysian Hall, our accommodation for the night. After unpacking all our stuffs in the room, we kick start our day by visiting some interesting places in the town.

The most memorable one would be visiting the Madame Tussaud where it had numerous wax statues of famous people all over the world. We also made an unplanned visit to the London Aquarium where we were able to see, what else, fish. Lots of them. Not to mention sharks as well, but they are still consider as fish right? Never mind. We then just walk along the roads in London and passes by Westminster Abbey, home of the coronation, the house of kings. We later then went back to Bayswater and had our dinner there at a Malaysian restaurant before heading back to sleep.

The next day, we went to the Buckingham Palace to witness the parade that is being held every Sunday. Unfortunately for us, we were a bit late most probably because we stop by for our breakfast. So, we just strolled around the park while taking pictures along the way until we reached Trafalgar Square. We then continue to walk again and again, crossing the river through the Millennium Bridge and made another unplanned stop at the historical London Tower Bridge. Since we both were finally out of breath for climbing the stairs, we decided to call the day off. We headed back to London Victoria before taking a bus to Coventry and went home.

The trip to London rounded up my trip during the winter. I just stayed home in the next day before making one last trip to London, again, but this time for I am going home to Malaysia. We took our usual bus from Coventry and went straight to Stansted Airport. My flight was schedule at 11 pm. We arrived at the airport a bit early and still have time to grab a cup of coffee at Costa. She then went home after I finished checking in my ticket and passport. Since the flight is still one hour away, I managed to do some last minute shopping and also greeted some friendly Malaysian along the way. Boarding the plane, I embraced myself for another 13 hours of long and boring journey. After completing the mission, our plane landed at KL International safely.

It was the best holiday I had had for a very long time. Wish I would able to spend more time there but that simply would not be the case for I have work here to be done. I do however, looking forward to visit other countries perhaps in the future.
