the first holiday

Hey it’s a holiday! But… not an exciting one because I was swarmed by homeworks! Not that I hate homeworks but… yeah, I do hate them. Well, life goes on. One thing that I really looking forward is the kick-off for English Premier League, which should take place around next week. A lot of changes in the clubs, not just players but managers as well. Three new faces are eagerly waiting to show what they are capable of. Jose Maurinho who led the Porto FC to Champions League title last season had fill in the hot seat in world’s richest club, Chelsea. Rafael Benitez, led the Valencia to their La Liga title last season are all ready to fire up at Liverpool and lastly, Jacques Santini who managed the French national team for the past two years will be taking over Spurs. New faces promise new changes and that are exactly a die-hard fans like myself are looking forward in this season.

It is also a pleasure to see Arsenal beat Manchester United in this year Charity Shield match. Last year was a mistake when handing over the cup to MU. They won’t do that again this time around. 3-1 was a massive win over MU considering the fact that Arsenal was playing without the likes of Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg and Sol Campbell. With the absence of the key players, some young talent rise up such as Jose Reyes and Fabregas and that indicates that Arsenal had few lads who can take over the club in few years time.

I’m not placing my bet with anyone right now but I believe that Arsenal can retain their Premiership title this year and hopefully win the Champions League. Good luck guys!
